If you are going to a country that is Spanish speaking and you want to know how to converse, a Conversational Spanish class is probably the best way to go. You will learn how to say things that will help you when you are out on the street, such as "Where are the washrooms?" or "Where is the bank?"

If you take a traditional Spanish class you will begin with the basics. You will be taught the alphabet first and then you will move into actual Spanish words. This is a good way to learn Spanish if you are planning on using it for more than a trip.
